  • A Tweed Heads mum found a Fila rowing machine at her local Target for just $9
  • She found the machine, which retails at $150, in the returns clearance section
  • It was marked down after being labelled as faulty for missing six screws

An Australian shopper has wowed hundreds with her incredible bargain find of a rowing machine marked down to just $9.

The bargain hunting mum, from Tweed Heads, nabbed the amazing deal at her local Target and shared the find in a post to the popular Facebook group Markdown Addicts Australia.

Originally retailing at $150, the Fila Rowing Machine from Target had been marked as faulty merchandise as it was ‘missing six screws’ as the label read.

A thrifty mum has impressed hundreds online after she shared her incredible bargain find – a Fila rowing machine worth $150 that was marked down to just $9

‘Obviously a return but there was nothing wrong with it! All plastic was even still on it! I was looking at getting one of these when they were $300! So for $9 it was worth the risk,’ the thrifty mum wrote.

She said she ‘couldn’t believe it’ when she found the rower which was found to be faulty back in April and had been marked down again and again in the return clearance section.

In the comments the lucky Target customer said when she opened it up, she only found two screws missing which she had replacements for at home.

Many in the comments were impressed by the ‘great score’ with one group member saying: ‘I love that it was marked $18 and no one bought it for that?! That was still super cheap.’

”Missing 6 screws’. I’d have bought it too if that was the only issue. Well done! I think you win,’ a second wrote.

‘Does this take the cake for bargain of the year?’ asked a third.
