Simone Anderson has always been totally honest about the difference plastic surgery has made to her life.
The 26-year-old Auckland-based Instagram star – who made headlines for shedding a whopping 92 kilograms – has in the past confessed to facial fillers, skin removal surgery, porcelain veneers and more, explaining how they helped with her self-confidence.
Now, Ms Anderson has taken to her Instagram profile to hit back at a troll who claimed she looks ‘deformed’ after plastic surgery – with a lengthy post explaining just why she is not ashamed.

Now, Ms Anderson has taken to her Instagram profile to hit back at a troll who claimed she looks ‘deformed’ after plastic surgery (pictured before and since)
‘”It’s not your face anymore, it’s totally deformed, you are not an example to me anymore, this is disappointing, you [are] supposed to be a stronger woman who loves her self as she is, now you look like you came from Keeping Up With the Kardashians”,’ Ms Anderson began her post – with the comments she received from a troll.
‘This is a message I received over the weekend and a comment I often see appear on my images and in my private messages,’ she wrote.
‘Self love doesn’t start at a certain point in life, you don’t get to it with your weight or your appearance. You don’t need to constantly remain exactly the same or not make changes to try and prove you love yourself,’ the Instagram star added.
The 26-year-old said she often sees such comments appear in her images and in her private messages (pictured having fillers done)
‘You don’t need to constantly remain exactly the same or not make changes to try and prove you love yourself,’ Ms Anderson wrote in defence to the statement
‘Every single change I have made to my appearance I have been open and honest with you all,’ she said – whether it was plastic surgery, skin removal or veneers
‘Every single change I have made to my appearance I have been open and honest with you all,’ she said.
‘It has never been an easy decision due to constant judgment and scrutiny, but I have continued to share openly as I have promised this from day one.’
The 26-year-old said she has shared ‘my skin removal surgery, my experience with facial fillers, my choice to have porcelain veneers, having my brows tattooed, and getting hair extensions.
‘I am not ashamed or have ever tried to hide a single one of these things.’
The YouTube star admitted that ‘having plastic surgery and now getting facial fillers is something I probably would never have looked into if I hadn’t lost nearly 100kg’.
But, she said, ‘this left me with saggy, deflated skin and both these have helped me feel more confident in myself’.

Last year, Ms Anderson took to YouTube to share her experience with lip fillers and why she plans to continue getting them moving forward.
‘Today I am heading off to get my lips done again and it’s been just over a year since I started getting fillers in my lips. It has changed my life,’ she said.
‘I love it. I hated my lips beforehand. They were so small and when I smiled – completely disappeared – like no lips at all. Even when I put on lipstick I had nothing to work with.
‘It’s not something you need to get done or that I felt like I needed to get done I just personally really really love the look of slightly more enhanced lips on myself.
‘It has been something that I will definitely continue to do and I will never not do it.’
The 26-year-old spent around NZD $800 (AUD $769), and decided to vlog about her experience to show her fans what it’s really like to get them done.
‘I know some people do not agree with enhancements… I totally respect that and totally understand that and that is your decision,’ she said.

Simone Anderson’s weight loss has inspired thousands – she boasts more than half a million followers on social media
Earlier on in the year, Ms Anderson shared a similar video detailing her facial fillers.
After dropping from 169 kilograms to 77 kilograms following a Gastric Sleeve surgery and having a number of surgeries to remove her excess skin, Ms Anderson had the fillers to tighten the ‘loose skin’ on her face.
‘At the start of this week I went to the amazing team at @caci_nz and had facial fillers,’ she wrote on Instagram.
‘After losing 92kg I am covered in lose [sic] skin and one place that I don’t think many people would even think it would occur is the face.
‘My cheeks sagged leaving me with big indent lines around my nose to mouth which is also something that can happen as you age and your skin loses the elasticity.’

Meanwhile, Ms Anderson continues to post real photos of her body and what it looks like (pictured right versus Instagram)
Since first starting her weight loss journey, Ms Anderson has earned over half a million followers on social media and regularly shares inspiring words of advice, her workout regime and her diet choices with them.
Speaking previously to FEMAIL about her top tips for losing weight and keeping it off, Ms Anderson said: ‘I like to spend a couple of hours each Sunday planning what meals I want for the week, then going food shopping and finally prepping meals and snacks’.
‘I [also] find if I am well hydrated then it also makes a huge difference in my energy levels,’ she said.
‘Ensuring I have good healthy and easy snacks on hand means it helps choose a healthy option over something that is unhealthy or more convenient.’
The 26-year-old also recommended small daily changes – such as changing a catch-up such as a glass of wine to a walk and a smoothie – as the best way to achieve your goals.
