Simone Biles’ INCREDIBLE opening Houston Astros pitch from 2019 goes viral again after gymnast’s gold medal glory in Paris

Is there anything Simone Biles can’t do?

USA’s gymnastics star has already won two gold medals at the Paris Games so far in France and takes her shot at a third on Saturday in the vault event.

But as her star continues to rise, her opening pitch for a Houston Astros game in 2019 has resurfaced on social media for one incredible reason.

After walking out at Minute Maid Park for Game 2 of the World Series, Biles did a standing backflip from just in front of the mound, before being passed a baseball and nailing her throw.

Biles was wearing an orange Astros jersey on the night but wasn’t a good luck omen for the team – they lost 12-3 to the Washington Nationals, who went on to record a surprising 4-3 series triumph.

Fast forward five years, though, and Biles has no reason to be cursing her luck this time around.

She won gold on the all-around on Friday, following on from team gold in France which made her USA’s most decorated Olympic gymnast.

After competing Saturday, she has two more events that are both on Monday morning – the balance beam final and the floor exercise final.

Speaking after her second gold in the all-around on Thursday, Biles said it was the most stressful competition she had featured in due to the pressure that Brazilian rival Rebeca Andrade placed on her.

‘I don’t want to compete with Rebeca no more. I’m tired,’ Biles jokingly told reporters.

‘She’s way too close. I’ve never had an athlete that close so it definitely put me on my toes and it brought up the best athlete in myself.

‘So I’m excited and proud to compete with her but I’m getting uncomfortable guys. I don’t like that feeling. I was stressed.’

U.S. teammate and bronze medalist Sunisa Lee agreed, saying: ‘I swear I’ve never seen you that stressed!’
