Simone Biles’ Netflix show is renewed for a second season as Team USA gymnast makes announcement in Paris after Olympics dominance

Simone Biles has announced that a second part of her Netflix show will be released later this year.

The Olympics star revealed the news in a video on Wednesday, in which she made reference to another successful Netflix show: Emily in Paris.

Biles filmed at a number of locations around Paris, including a lavish rooftop bar overlooking the Eiffel Tower, while she also visited a clothing store, ate crepes and tried pastries.

Part one of Simone Biles: Rising aired earlier this year in the build up to the Paris Olympics and received largely positive reviews.

It showed the Team USA gymnast’s journey from withdrawing at the Tokyo Games with the ‘Twisties’ to getting ready to compete again in the French capital.

She stunned the world when she withdrew from the Tokyo Games with a mental block that made it dangerous to perform her high-flying routines.

Biles spoke candidly about her mental health journey and gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at her relationship with husband Jonathan Owens.

And the show was such a hit that part two has already been confirmed for release on October 25 as Biles looks to capitalize on her success in the French capital this summer.

She returned to the Olympic stage in Paris happy and healthy and won three golds – in the team event, all-around and vault – and took silver in the floor exercise after losing to her Brazilian rival Rebeca Andrade by the slimmest of margins.

Biles is now back on American soil and was slammed for wearing a controversial custom-made jacket to support Owens and the Chicago Bears last week.

Biles attended the Bears’ preseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals at Soldier Field Saturday afternoon but the Olympian committed a fashion – and football – faux pas.

She showed out in support of Owens, wearing a custom jacket with black-and-white printed images of him on it.

However, the Olympic legend made an NFL rookie error as the various snaps featured Owens in action for the Green Bay Packers – the Bears’ longstanding fierce rivals and his former team.

Owens played one season in Green Bay last year before making the move down Lake Michigan to Chicago earlier this year, and Biles was seen regularly rooting for him at Packers’ games last season.

Biles, who married the safety in 2023, also revealed to her adoring fans that she will not be able to attend as many of her husband’s games this season.

Just over two weeks until the 2024 season kicks off, the gymnastic icon admitted in a TikTok video that she will be too busy to cheer on her beau at Soldier Field and on the road this year due to her post-Olympic duties.

‘I don’t know how many games I’ll be able to make because in a few weeks we go on tour, and if you guys aren’t aware, it’s the Gold Over America tour. I think right now we’re doing about 32 stops,’ Biles said.
