An agitated mother was filmed as she and her son nearly ‘drowned’ in a giant children’s ball pit.
Vivien Low was seen panicking and waving in desperation as she struggled to keep her arm above the ball line in the footage.
She had fallen in with her four-year-old son Riley when she lost her balance near the blue ball pit.
The 5ft 6in mother wrote on Facebook that she had lost her balance and could not stand up.
She wrote on her social media page: ‘I could not reach the bottom and I could not stand up. I tried to roll over, I couldn’t.’
The footage was filmed at a children’s play area in Singapore
She added: ‘I tried to find the net so I could grip it, I couldn’t,’ she continued. ‘My son was stuck inside too.
‘I panicked and waved and screamed for help. None came. I seriously panicked and did not know what to do.’
Mrs Low, who runs a parenting blog with her husband John, later posted a video of her experience in the ball pool on Facebook where it has attracted more than 428,000 views.
‘And thereafter I pulled out my son, and two other kids: a boy and a girl.
‘It was then the staff came by to help me drag the kids out of the balls before I climbed out.
‘The kids all went in alone. They were about 6-8 years old. The girl was crying and I think she went out after the incident.’

The footage was posted onto the social media and has since gone viral, with Airzone replying to the claims
The company which runs the play area, AirZone, has promised to review its safety standards after footage at the City Square Mall went viral.
After the video was posted, operator Airzone wrote in a Facebook comment: ‘We would like to thank you for bringing this to our attention.
‘We will review the number of balls included in the pit and ensure that our first-aid trained staff will be swifter in their response to any requests for assistance.
‘So far, the feedback we have about the ball pit has been very positive and we’ve not received any other feedback about the ball pit being too deep.’
Mr Low said it was his wife’s first time at the ball put and that they would be returning as their son Riley ‘really loves the ball pit’.
He clarified that people had overreacted to their social media post as he had got used to the ball pit after 10 minutes.
‘It really is quite safe, although a little out-of-the norm experience,’ he wrote, adding that their post was intended to advise parents to accompany their child in the pit.
