A nineties singer took to Instagram to mark her parents’ 56th wedding anniversary on Sunday.
The 51-year-old shared sweet throwback snaps of her mother and father from their wedding day.
Her mother looked incredible in a long-sleeved lace wedding dress, while her dad cut a dapper figure in a black and white tuxedo.
Fans couldn’t help but point out how the star’s mum bore a striking resemblance to the singing superstar.

Alongside the sweet tribute, the singer wrote: ’12th October, 1968. Fifty-six years ago, my parents got married.
‘@Wolves were playing at home and supporters were all over the town centre. Mum was trying to get to the church but the car was stuck.. so the police escorted her through!
‘Dad passed away in 2010, but Mum always celebrates that day she married her soul mate.’
After posting the snaps, her followers took to the comment section to remark on the uncanny similarities between her mother Daloris and her.
They wrote: ‘You look so much like your mum when looking at these pictures. They both look fantastic on their wedding day!’

In 2006, she starred in the BBC music TV series Just the Two of Us, a role she repeated a year later.
She also hosted the BBC Radio 2 show Beverley’s Gospel Nights, which delved into the impact of gospel music.
The show ran for six seasons until 2009 and interviewed some of the biggest names in the industry including Michelle Williams and Shirley Caesar.
In 2012, Beverley sang at the London Paralympic Opening Ceremony and made her first foray into musical theatre in September a year later.
She celebrated 25 years in music with the release of the live album BK25 in 2016.
Her ninth studio album, The Fifth Chapter, was released in October last year.
She met her husband James O’Keefe, a former lighting technician, in 2007 when she was shooting the TV ad for her album Music City Soul (seen with James in 2018)
Throughout her star-studded career she has been nominated for two Laurence Olivier Awards for Best Actress in a Musical in 2015 and 2022 for her performances in Memphis and The Drifters Girl.
She won her third nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a musical for Sylvia that same year.
As for her personal life, she met her husband James O’Keefe, a former lighting technician, in 2007 when she was shooting the TV ad for her album Music City Soul.
Five years later they married in the orangery of Goodwood House in West Sussex in 2012.
