Singer Sam Ryder reveals the ‘controversial’ secret behind his luscious locks and the item he insists is on his backstage rider in every country
Sam Ryder is as well known for his incredible voice as he is his luscious tresses.
And the singer shared the secret behind his crowing glory, revealing his process is very simple.
‘My hair care routine is going to kind of be quite controversial. I wash it and I go to bed with it completely just fresh, wet out the shower’ he told Perth Now.
Sam went on to reveals that his backstage rider always includes the best vegan chocolate in every country he tours.
‘On my rider is lots of fruit and vegetables, lots of ginger shots, and also loads of vegan chocolate’ he said.

‘Vegan chocolate isn’t great, I’m going to be honest with you. Every country we go to we want to try the best vegan chocolate they can find.’
It comes after Sam revealed he underwent surgery on his eye to remove a lump earlier this month.
The Eurovision star, 34, displayed his bruised face as he took to the stage at a festival at the weekend following the procedure.
The singer took to Instagram to share a gallery of snaps as he performed in a black and silver space themed boiler suit and told fans there is ‘nothing to worry about’.

He wrapped a towel around his neck in one up-close picture which showcased both of his eyes looking extremely red and sore.
In another photo, a pal joked that he had punched Sam in the eye giving him the bruises.
Sam wrote: ‘Had some surgery to remove a lump above my eye (should be all good though, nothing to worry about) anyway, the best medicine was a weekend full of music with my pals and singing my head off with you all!
