Earlier this month, Troye revealed that his latest single The Good Side chronicles a ‘rough’ breakup, admitting that it served as an apology to his former flame.
In an interview on Beats 1, the Take Me Down singer admitted that the track was the saddest on his forthcoming album.
‘This song is a little rough,’ Troye explained. ‘This is like one of the only sad songs on the album. It’s basically about a breakup that I went through a while ago.
Admitting that he was able to deal with the breakup by going on tour and dealing with the split by singing about it, Troye added the song was a kind of apology.
