Sketch of woman found killed in Atlanta street is released

Police in Atlanta have released a sketch depicting an unidentified woman whose body was found riddled with bullets in the middle of the street four days prior.

The victim had no identification on her, and so far, investigators have been unable to find out any information about her, but they hope someone would see the drawing and contact them.

Police officers responded to the 1700 block of Hortense Place in northwest Atlanta for reports of shots fired at 7.15am on Thursday, and discovered a woman suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Neighbors said they heard the sound of rapid gunfire between 5 and 6am that morning, but it was not until after dawn that a married father-of-five came upon the body lying in the middle of the street.

‘All I saw was a body with blood,’ the unnamed local resident told Fox 5, adding that the victim is somebody’s daughter and the person who took her life must be held to account.

The mystery woman is described as a black female believed to be between 16 and 22 years old, weighing between 120 and 160lbs with a medium built, and standing at 5 to 5 feet 5 inches in height, according to CBS46.

She was discovered wearing a black nylon Adidas jacket, a blue-and-white striped shirt, black denim jeans, socks and pink flip flops, according to Atlanta Journal Constitution.
