Skip Bayless agonizes over who to vote for between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris

After a long career in sports broadcasting where Skip Bayless rarely veered into politics like many of his contemporaries, he’s now talked publicly about his choice for President.

Bayless is undecided on who to vote for on Election Day, pointing how his thoughts on what both candidates have done right and wrong on his podcast.

As the Presidential election comes front and center on Tuesday, Harris and Trump are trying to court any last-second voters to help them into the Oval Office.

‘Just for the record, I am neither Democrat nor Republican,’ Bayless said. ‘I did not vote for Donald Trump either of the first two times. But I must admit – I’m having a hard time convincing myself that Kamala Harris will make the kind of president this country deserves.’

While Bayless said Harris won the only Presidential debate, she has not done anything to further sway his vote in the last several weeks.

‘In so many other interviews I’ve seen her do, she loses her train of thought. She just rambles,’ Bayless said. ‘And I start to wonder – Is she really the kind of dynamic leader and decision-maker this country needs and deserves?’

‘They are voting for Kamala only because there is no way they would vote for Donald Trump. It’s not that they believe deeply in Kamala – it’s just that they have condemned Donald Trump as a far-right psycho who cannot be allowed back into power.’

The 72-year-old Bayless did not like that people have the perception of voting Harris more out of hate for Trump than liking her policies.

‘Donald Trump has some hard-ass commander in him,’ Bayless continued. ‘Sometimes when you want to preserve your freedom from superpowers that want to talk it from you, you need a (George) Patton on your side, in the controls, even if you don’t believe in his politics.’

For all of Bayless’ talk that seems to give the impression he is leaning Trump, he admits where he stands, but has not committed to his vote.

‘You are Donald freaking Trump. You are one of the most recognizable men in the world. You are one of the most successful businessmen in the history of the world. You don’t need to lie, exaggerate, or even embellish the truth. You should be so much better than that. You’ve earned being better than that.’
