Skydiver tucks into a Whopper while plummeting through the air

This is the hair-raising moment a young woman tucks into a Burger King Impossible Whooper as she falls thousands of feet through the air on the back of a wingsuit pilot.

The incredible Go-Pro footage, which was captured in the skies over Zephyrhills, Florida, shows McKenna Knipe, 24, taking bites out of the plant-based burger as she hurtles through the air while straddled on the back of her friend and wingsuit pilot Steve King.

The thrill-seeker from South Florida, who had concealed the burger inside her flight jacket before leaping from the plane, unwraps the burger before taking a large bite of the delicious treat as she plummets towards the earth doing a ‘wingsuit rodeo’.

During the clip, which was filmed November 24, McKenna falls out of an aircraft while attached to the back of her wingsuit pilot Steve and shows the vegetarian version of Burger King’s famous Whopper sandwich to the camera.

She then begins to unwrap the treat before taking a large bite out of it and nodding in delight.

The daredevil then gently taps the helmet of her wingsuit pilot and asks if he would like a bite of her burger before asking her fellow skydivers in the air is they too would like a bite.

After quickly wrapping the burger and releasing her parachute, McKenna then shoots up into the air before Go-Pro footage filmed by the thrill-seeker herself shows her enjoying the rest of her burger as she flies back down to the ground.

Following the daring stunt McKenna said: ‘In this video you see my friend Steve King and myself doing a wingsuit rodeo while I eat an Impossible Whopper from Burger King.

‘Steve was about to do a wing suit jump and I asked him if he wanted to do a rodeo.

‘There was a Burger King right down the road and I happen to find the new impossible burger quite tasty. I also wanted to help promote vegetarianism.

‘So I got the idea to munch on a burger during the rodeo. He had the new GoPro MAX and we wanted to give it a try. It ended up working out perfectly.

‘When I look back on the jump I get excited because of how smoothly it went and how much fun it was to hang with friends in the sky while eating a burger.

‘Makes me want to do it again. And again, and again.’

McKenna, who now wants to build a career as a ‘flying food reviewer’ after a previous video of her eating a pizza went viral, said: ‘I began skydiving three years ago.

‘I fell madly in love with the sport, the lifestyle, and the people.

‘I posted a video eating a slice of pizza under canopy and it ended up going viral. It showed me that I have the opportunity to make a living doing similar acts.
