Rapper XXXTentacion was renovating a $1.4million home near the motorcycle dealership where he was shot dead on Monday.
The ‘Look at Me!’ rapper bought thehome in Parkland, Florida, in November last year and had been nearing the end of a full-scale refurbishment of the mansion.
The opulent home is located only 15 minutes away from the place he died after being attacked by two gunmen while browsing motorcycles on Monday afternoon.
According to estate agents Zillow, who marketed the home, the 6,000 square foot property has 4 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, and a pool on more than an acre of land.

Neighbors of the deceased rapper told TMZ that construction crews had been working hard to complete the project in the week’s leading up to XXX’s death.
They said the musician had reportedly installed a security fence on the perimeter of his land and performed a host of other transformations.
His neigbours said he had only recently moved in full-time and described XXX as ‘quiet but friendly’.
Photos from inside the mansion show it as it was when he took the keys last year before its renovation.
XXXTentacion was killed after two armed suspects reportedly shot him having approached his vehicle as he left a motorcycle dealership where he’d been checking out new rides.
TMZ said one of the suspects, described as black males wearing hoodies, shot him before both men then left the scene in a black Dodge Journey with dark tint and black wheels.
Stephanie Martinez, a 29-year-old mother who lives in the neighborhood, was just coming back from the pool with her kids when she heard three shots. She drove to the end of the street and saw the rapper’s body in the car.
‘He has his mouth open and his hand out. Two people went over and checked his pulse,’ said Martinez, who also saw blood. ‘It’s just weird because he should’ve had security and stuff with him.’

Police said they are treating the incident as a ‘possible robbery’ after the suspects took a Louis Vuitton bag from the rapper’s vehicle.
Local law enforcement have appealed for anyone with any information to contact homicide detectives.
Broward County Sheriff’s Office has tweeted that a $3,000 reward is now being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
XXXTentacion had previously posted an eerie video on Instagram in which he foreshadowed his own death.
In a candid message to fans posted in an Instagram Live feed, the rapper revealed what he believed would be his legacy if anything were to happen to him suddenly.
‘If I’m going to die or ever be a sacrifice, I want to make sure that my life made at least five million kids happy,’ he said.
‘Or they found some sort of answers or resolve in my life regardless of the negative around my name, regardless of the bad things people say to me.’
The star was not known to be gang-affiliated, although had been in trouble with the law on several occasions and spent time behind bars for violent domestic abuse against a pregnant ex-girlfriend.
