Smitten Josh Allen opens up on joining fiancee Hailee Steinfeld at Sinners movie premiere

Josh Allen has gushed over his experience at Hailee Steinfeld’s movie premiere earlier this month after witnessing his fiancee ‘shine’ on the red carpet.

Steinfeld, who got engaged to the Buffalo Bills quarterback last year, was in New York City at the start of April to promote new vampire flick ‘Sinners’, which she stars in alongside Hollywood superstar Michael B. Jordan.

And as she dazzled in front of the cameras, proud-fiance Allen was watching on nearby after joining her at the premiere.

‘It was awesome. It was a different world, a very cool experience,’ he said about the ‘Sinners’ event in an offseason press conference for the Bills.

‘I’m so excited for her and so proud of her. It’s getting some great reviews, it’s a fantastic movie… so go watch it!’

Allen then added: ‘I’m just there trying to support her in whatever way that I can. That was her moment and I’m so glad she got to shine.’

The NFL’s newly-crowned MVP is repaying the favor to Steinfeld after being cheered on by his now-fiancee at several football games in recent years. 

Allen also attended a premiere for ‘Sinners’ in Mexico City at the start of the month, where the pair were seen enjoying an intimate moment at one stage. 

Steinfeld in attendance when he was crowned MVP in February following a breathtaking individual season with the Bills.

The pair have been engaged since Josh got down on one knee against a glorious coastal backdrop during Buffalo’s bye-week back in November.

During an interview with Who What Wear earlier this year, Steinfeld gushed over Allen as ‘the man of my dreams’ while insisting he pulled off ‘the most perfect proposal I could have ever, ever dreamt.’ 

The quarterback, meanwhile, has previously admitted that he was shaking with nerves despite his cool demeanor on the day. 

Allen and Steinfeld were first spotted together in May 2023, shortly after the former split from his longtime girlfriend Brittany Williams.

Hailee, who enjoyed her breakthrough with an Oscar-nominated performance in the 2010 movie True Grit, was seen alongside the three-time Pro Bowler in New York City at the time.

In ‘Sinners’, she plays the love interest of one of Jordan’s characters – with the Creed and Black Panther star taking on the role of twin brothers.
