A snake in India is caught on camera thrashing around in a desperate attempt to get a stuck can of beer off its head.

Video taken by some onlookers shows the snake slithering out of a forest and onto a dirt road.

It has an orange can of beer on its head and moves agitatedly from side to side trying to remove it.

All of its attempts are unsuccessful and it begins to look desperate.

Still not finding any luck, the snake manages to move to the other side of the dirt road.

The onlookers continue to film, backing away from the snake when it looks like its coming towards them.
