Digitalised puppy ears and flower crowns have become synonymous with millennials, as the rise of Snapchat took the virtual reality world by storm.
However, it appears that the older generation are finally cottoning on to the virtual fun of the social media app, judging by these photos.
Snapchat, the popular photo-sharing app for mobile phones adored by teens and famed for its various filters, has now become the refuge of the digital dad joke.
Now embarrassed teenagers have been calling our their parent’s somewhat criminal attempts at humour as they battle to understand the app.
According to research carried out by eMarketer, the amount of users aged 45 to 54 has gone up by 2 per cent in a year.
In fact the market research firm believes that those over the age of 45 are projected to make up 12.2 per cent of Snapchat’s users in 2018, and 13.3 per cent by 2019.
