She recently said goodbye to her fellow stars at Gwrych Castle.

And on Wednesday, Snoochie Shy detailed the ‘challenges’ of embracing her birthmark during her appearance on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!

The Radio 1 DJ, 29, admitted she ‘feels better’ after speaking out about insecurities surrounding her appearance, after becoming the third campmate to be eliminated in Tuesday’s show.

Returning to life outside of the wilderness to appear on Wednesday’s Lorraine, Snoochie said: ‘It feels really really strange. I thought I was gonna eat loads in the castle. I’ve just had six chips but I’m feeling good.’

The star looked to be back to her usual self as she wore a full face of glowing make-up and a winged eyeliner.

Lorraine detailed that Snoochie had been an inspiration to young girls as she had faced her insecurities and openly discussed her facial birthmark in the castle.

Snoochie explained: ‘I think it’s just something that’s always been a part of me growing up, I was insecure about it because of past experiences and stuff.

‘It was a challenge for me because it was the first time that anyone had ever seen my birthmark – only my friends and family knew.’

She added that overcoming her insecurities became a big part of her experience on the reality TV show.

She detailed: ‘I was like, I can’t get any foundation anyway and I feel much better for it. I feel happy that I did that. It was a big journey for me in the castle and I’m feeling better for it.’

Previously speaking to fellow celebrities Frankie Bridge and Naughty Boy, Snoochie revealed she was worried people would think she was a ‘catfish’ after covering it up for social media photos for so long.

A catfish is when you present to be different online to what you are in real life.

The radio presenter said: ‘One of my main things coming in here, and I said it to my mum and the guy I’m seeing, “I think people are going to think I’m a catfish. I’m not going to look like my Insta.”

She went on: ‘Insta is your best angles, you’ve got sick lighting, you’ve got make-up on. I don’t edit my face, but obviously I’ll put like… if I’ve got spots I hide it, with my birthmark I cover it with make-up.’

Naughty Boy then sweetly told her: ‘I think people are going to admire you for it.’

This comes as she became the third celebrity to bid farewell to Gwrych Castle after falling victim to the public vote during Tuesday’s episode.

Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly arrived in camp and told the celebrities that Snoochie and Naughty Boy had received the fewest public votes before revealing the radio presenter would be sent home.

Remaining positive, Snoochie said: ‘It’s alright, it’s all good. I met so many great people that I never would have met in my everyday life and you become such close friends really quickly.’
