Snoop Dogg watches Noah Lyles cruise into Olympics 200m final with the American’s mom – while wearing a T-shirt featuring sprinter’s face

Snoop Dogg has been an integral figure for the American contingent at the Olympic Games. His latest appearance was at the Stade de France.

Snoop was watching the men’s 200-meter semifinals next to Noah Lyles’ mom, Keisha Caine Bishop, wearing a t-shirt featuring the sprinter’s face.

Bishop and Snoop watched one of the favorites to win a gold medal at the distance easily qualify for the final but not win his heat.

Botswana’s Letsile Tebogo won the second of three semifinals heats with a time of 19.96 seconds.

Lyles finished second a dozen hundredths behind with a time of 20.08 seconds.

Both Tabogo and Lyles visibly pulled up at the end of the 200 meters, knowing the top-two competitors from each heat automatically qualify for the finals.

The world record is nearly one second faster than Lyles time, with his 100-meter sprint gold medal not setting the world or Olympic record.

The finals will take place on Thursday afternoon, with Lyles looking to become the first American in four decades to win both the 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash in the same Olympics.

The last American to achieve that feat was Carl Lewis at the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles.

Snoop’s other appearances at the Olympics include sitting next to A’ja Wilson at Team USA’s men’s basketball quarterfinal against Brazil, at skateboarding, and at gymnastics events where he danced in the crowd with Jordan Chiles and Simone Biles following his moves.

If Snoop is a good luck charm, expect him to be back beside Bishop’s side for the 200-meter final on Thursday.
