- The dazed trio can be seen on the ground after being covered in the snow
- The huge drift of snow came from the roof of Vidiaevo Town Hall in Russia
- Svetlana Buzova grabbed her 18-month-old daughter after the incident, and took her to the hospital, where they both had MRI scans of their heads
Two women and a toddler were knocked to the ground by a huge snowfall that dropped 50 feet off a town hall roof.
A security camera captured the scene as mother Svetlana Buzova, with her unnamed 18-month-old daughter, chatted to a friend outside the town hall.
Suddenly a huge mass of snow slides from the roof of Vidiaevo Town Hall in north-westernRussia’s Murmansk Oblast region and flattens all three of them and knocks over an empty pushchair.
Terrifying: The vast amount of snow suddenly fell as Svetlana Buzova – who was with her 18-month-old daughter – and her friend were talking
They disappear from view for a moment and then are seen again dazed and on the ground as the cloud of snow clears.
Svetlana picks up her daughter and runs off with her, and the friend is then seen getting to her feet.
The mother later told local media: ‘Me and the girl had MRI scans of our heads. I was diagnosed with bruises of the head, thigh, hand and neck.
As the snow settled, all three were seen on the floor, and an empty pushchair can be seen toppled over
‘When all of this happened she stayed silent’: Worried mother Svetlana said her daughter was incredibly quiet
‘My daughter suffered mostly mentally. When all of this happened she stayed silent. I was frightened that I would lose her.’
There was no comment from town hall bosses. Local media report that prosecutors are considering whether any charges should be brought against those responsible for maintaining the town hall.
Local media reported that the snow had fallen 50 feet (15.2 metres).
Svetlana was praised in Russian media for her quick dash to get medical help for her daughter. There was no word on what injuries her friend suffered.
