Sofia Richie shares rare snap with baby daughter as she prepares to celebrate first Mother’s Day

Sofia Richie took to Instagram ahead of the weekend to share a rare snap with her nearly one-year-old daughter Eloise.

The 26-year-old socialite, who shares the little one with husband Elliot Grainge, gave birth nearly one year ago on May 20, making Sunday’s upcoming holiday her first Mother’s Day.

Engaging her audience of 11 million followers on Friday, she shared a single snapshot holding the tot above her head and smiling.

She captioned the post — in which she wore jeans, a pale yellow shirt, and periwinkle ballet flats — ‘My mini.’ It has so far collected over 115,000 likes, including one from fellow new mom Hailey Bieber.

It comes after the beauty attended Monday night’s Met Gala in a stunning ivory Tommy Hilfiger gown. 

Sofia and Elliot have not yet shared their daughter’s face with the world.

Just a few days ago the star posted outtakes from a scenic family vacation, writing, ‘So thankful for the moments.’ 

Since becoming a mother, Richie has designed a children’s clothing collection sold on Amazon under her married name, Grainge.

The affordably priced items include unisex onesies, sweaters, and dresses.

The model announced her pregnancy news in a series of Instagram posts on January 25, 2024.

The official Instagram pages of Vogue Magazine and Vogue Weddings also shared a set of stunning photos of Sophia showing off her belly.

The caption read, ‘Congratulations are in order for @sofiarichiegrainge! The star is expecting her first child with her husband, @Elliotgrainge.’

The message continued with a quote from the star about her pregnancy: ‘I’ve learned more in the past six months than I have in my entire life.’

She enjoyed a rare night out on the Met Gala red carpet several days ago.

As a guest of Tommy Hilfiger, the stunner modeled a backless, mock-neck, short-sleeved frock that hugged her fit frame.

Sharing snapshots on social media afterward, she wrote, ‘Thank you @tommyhilfiger for an unforgettable evening.’

Before heading into the soiree, she spoke to Entertainment Tonight, sharing about her day before the event, ‘You know what, it was a balanced day. I had a half a day with my baby and I had the other half of my day doing the most glam evening, taking a shot of tequila, which I haven’t done in a long time.

‘I’m having a good time, and I’m here without my husband, which I haven’t done in a long time. I miss him tonight, but I’m just so happy to be here.’
