Sonia Kruger speaks out in support of Barnaby Joyce’s estranged wife Natalie Joyce

On Thursday, it was revealed Barnaby Joyce’s estranged wife Natalie had confronted his mistress Vikki Campion and called her a ‘home-wrecking wh***’ after their affair.

And on Channel Nine’s Today Extra on Thursday, co-host Sonia Kruger voiced her support for Natalie’s actions.

Sonia, 52, said: ‘Until she actually came out to speak she would forever be asked about it, she’s said what she has to say.

‘Perhaps the reason that Natalie has done this too is that she would actually like to put it [the whole affair] behind her.’

Sonia continued: ‘She’s been going through this pain for a couple of years. Now she will be able to move on because, as they say, living well is the best revenge.’

Speaking to the Women’s Weekly on Thursday, Natalie, 48, said she was ‘proud she stood up’ to her husband’s mistress at his Tamworth electorate office last March.

‘I was very measured. I didn’t raise my voice. She and Barney were smoking outside. He bolted when he saw me,’ Natalie said.

Vikki, 33, gave birth to baby Sebastian on April 16, her first with former deputy prime minister Barnaby, 51.

It was an especially painful event for Natalie, as her and Barnaby had always said that if they had a son, they would have called the child Sebastian.
