A terminally ill teenager who made a heartbreaking decision to end all cancer treatment has ticked another item off her bucket list after meeting her YouTube idol.
Sophia Gall, from Victoria’s Geelong, was diagnosed with osteosarcoma – a rare form of bone cancer – after a tumour was discovered in 2015.
But after the cancer was cleared from her lungs, the disease had spread down her leg – leaving her with little options for treatment.
And on Thursday, the 15-year-old girl couldn’t contain her excitement when she met celebrity makeup artist Patrick Starrr, who recently teamed up with Kim Kardashian to film a beauty tutorial.

The cancer-stricken girl fulfilled one of her dying wishes after she started a hashtag #sophiatomeetpatrickstar in an effort to meet the YouTube superstar.
‘GUYS THE #sophiatomeetpatrickstar WORKED!!!’ Sophia revealed to more than 60,000 of her Instagram followers.

‘My tough week at the hospital has been made all worth it thanks to you. I cannot thank you enough Patrick, you are such a beautiful person inside and out.

The make-up artist, who has more than 3.5 million followers, also did a shout out on his Instagram after the meet-and-greet in Melbourne.

Sharing a tearful video on YouTube, the young girl broke down in tears as she told her followers she was ceasing treatment.
‘I don’t know how much longer it is going to be, I don’t know how much longer I am going to be here for,’ she said.
‘I just want to enjoy every moment I have on this earth because life is too short and life is unfair.’

Instead of reeling over the disease, Sophia decided to make the most of her final moments by going travelling and meeting her role models

‘At the moment I’m just going to go on a big holiday around the world and enjoy my life as much as I can,’ she said.
‘We need to find a cure for cancer because this is just going to keep happening.
‘I can’t explain enough how hurtful and painful this is not just for me but for my whole family.’
