Sophie Cachia lists the engagement ring she gave to basketballer Maddie Garrick for sale AGAIN… after failing to find a buyer the first time

Sophie Cachia has decided list her engagement ring she brought for ex-fiancée Maddie Garrick after it failed to sell following the couple’s dramatic split.

The WAG-turned-influencer took to Instagram on Wednesday, to reveal that she still hasn’t found a buyer 11 months after she first announced it was for sale.

‘After doing a clean out & finding this in my drawer – I’ll be now selling,’ she began.

‘Genuine interest only as it is exxy (although will be selling heavily discounted) so if you’re looking for a gorgeous ring at half the price this festive season – please email [my assistant] (or send your partner my way)’.

The Australian Survivor star announced her shock split from basketballer Maddie in October.

Despite not revealing the reason for the split, Sophie hinted at a breach of trust and said she made the decision to set a ‘good example’ for her two children.

The breakup came one month after the pair began a long-distance relationship when Maddie moved to Florence, Italy, to work for a local women’s basketball team – and just eight months after they got engaged.

Sophie previously said that her mother told her to keep the ring, because she ‘worked hard for it’ and to give the diamonds to her daughter Floss, but ‘I’m not here for the bad juju it brings to my space & to put it simply … it hurts my heart’.

The mother-of-two added it was given with ‘special meaning’ when she proposed in March and this was a weird experience.

‘3 diamonds represented both my children & I and it actually meant so much for me to design it for that reason with the meaning behind it,’ she wrote.

‘To not even be seen as worthy or meaningful for more than 6 months … babe you gotta go.’

Ahead of Maddie’s departure, Sophie, who is mother to daughter Florence, five, and son Bobby, eight, shared a heartfelt Instagram post insisting their new long-distance romance was a stroke of fate and destined to thrive

The Australian Survivor star then clarified that she doesn't wish to sound 'malicious' towards Maddie, even though their break-up was extremely painful

The sleepwear designer was previously married to retired AFL star Jaryd Cachia, which ended before she began dating women.

‘I had a beautiful man in my life, I still do. He’s an incredible father and an incredible friend to me but why can’t women seek more?’ she said in 2020.

‘That married life I realised wasn’t what I wanted. And it wasn’t that I realised, ‘Oh, I like women now, I’m going to leave my marriage.’

‘It wasn’t that; I realised I wanted more.’
