Sophie Cachia has opened up about a shock cancer scare she once went through after she discovered a lump on her breast.
The former WAG, 33, posted a clip to Instagram on Friday night in which she revealed the details of the harrowing health scare.
She explained that she found a lump on her breast when she was just 21 years old and underwent a ‘petrifying’ ordeal.
‘When I was just 21 years old I found a lump under the surface of my left nipple. My mum took me straight to our doctor,’ Sophie told her fans.
The sleepwear entrepreneur said she was extremely worried until she was reassured by a top doctor that the lump was not cancerous.
‘By the afternoon I was sitting in the office of one of Melbourne’s top breast specialists, and they said the lump found was harmless,’ she shared.
Sophie said she was ‘one of the very lucky ones’ to come out of such a scary experience unscathed.
She urged her followers to support a breast cancer charity by buying Cygnett’s new pink power bank, the proceeds of which would go to the McGrath Foundation.

Many of Sophie’s followers quickly took to the comment section to thank her for sharing her harrowing story.
‘Thank you. I would be lost without my breast care nurse,’ one woman wrote and a second added: ‘You are making a difference to so many.’
Elsewhere, Sophie is currently counting down the days until welcoming her third child.
Sophie already shares a son, Bobby, nine, and a daughter Florence, seven, with AFL star Jaryd, who she confirmed she had split from in late 2019.
And in July, the WAG-turned-influencer confirmed she is expecting her third child.
She made the surprise announcement with sweet photographs of herself cuddled up in bed with her two children.
Sophie, who hasn’t confirmed the identity of the father or sperm donor, later revealed she is due to welcome a baby girl.
