Sophie Delezio has turned to her large social media following for parenting advice, as the new mum confessed that her eight-month-old son cries throughout each day.

The double car crash victim, 24, welcomed her first child, Frankie, with her husband Joseph Salerno in September.

Sophie required an unplanned caesarean section to deliver Frankie and has been sharing glimpses into the highs and lows of motherhood in the months since.

In a video posted to her Instagram Story on Thursday, she admitted being in a state of ‘exhaustion’ and wanting answers as to how to find the energy to keep going.

‘To all the mums out there, how do you cope when you’re feeling run down and just a bit exhausted?’ Sophie asked.

‘How do you keep your child entertained?’

‘I have to provide top-tier entertainment,’ Sophie added.

‘Otherwise, there is going to be many tears. And to be honest, probably from both of us. How?’

‘This is peak motherhood, where I just want to crawl up into my bed and watch Netflix all day,’ she continued with a sigh.

‘But no, the sun is shining and we’ve got to get on with the day.’

In previous responses to fan questions, Sophie has made several mentions to her son’s constant crying, calling it ‘heartbreaking.’

On a positive note, she told one fan that the best part about being a new mum is, ‘seeing him discover the world for the first time. His obsession with trees. His love for walks. His smile.’

The worst is: ‘Guessing what they need when they cry. It’s so hard at first to figure out what each cry means and sometimes they just cry for no reason, and it breaks my heart’.

In another post about her daily routine, Sophie said she tries to take Frankie for daily walks in the pram.

‘Other than that we just try and make it through the day without too many tears!’ she added in the same post.

Sophie and her childhood sweetheart Joseph wed in a whimsical country ceremony at exclusive Hunter Valley estate Anambah House in April.

Among the guests were the doctors who performed more than 100 operations to save Sophie’s life after two devastating accidents as a child.

Australia rallied around Sophie when a car crashed through the window of her daycare centre in 2003 when she was two, trapping her underneath.

Burns covered 85 per cent of her body after the tragedy, which cost her both of her feet, several fingers and her right ear.

Three years later, tragedy struck again when the five-year-old was hit by a car near her home in Sydney’s northern beaches while out with her nanny.

The impact threw her 18 metres out of her wheelchair, leaving her with a broken jaw, broken collarbone, nine broken ribs, punctured lungs, two fractured vertebrae and a brain injury.

Sophie suffered a heart attack during the ordeal and doctors at Sydney Children’s Hospital in Randwick asked her family twice if they would like to turn off her life support.

But the resilient little girl made another remarkable recovery and only a month later she left the hospital and went back to school.

She’s celebrated many milestones in the years following the freak accidents.

Sophie and Joseph met as Year 9 students at Oxford Falls Grammar, a co-educational Christian school, and became engaged in 2023 after Joseph popped the question on Valentines Day surrounded by rose petals and candles.

‘I truly feel like I’ve lived a million lives in the past few months,’ she shared in a recent life update on Instagram.

‘Frankie is such a wonderful baby, but even still, the days are long.

‘As much as I miss my “old life”, motherhood has given me the biggest purpose. The moments he smiles at me make all the hardships worth it.’
