Sophie Guidolin makes bizarre claim she’s ‘gained’ weight because she ‘went on a couple of dates with a guy’ and her body ‘just responded’

Sophie Guidolin has made yet another bizarre claim online, after saying she recently gained weight because her ‘body just responded’ to a man she was interested in.

The fitness model, 34, made the wild claim on Sunday when fans pointed out she had managed to gain some weight to help increase her muscle tone.

Eager to learn more about her health and fitness journey, many asked in an Instagram Q&A if she had adjusted her strict caloric intake.

‘Just want to say you look healthy as f**k,’ one person wrote, while another said, ‘You look the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. Keep spreading your love. You are incredible.’

A third asked the question on everyone’s mind: ‘How did you gain weight? You already eat over 3500 calories. Did you increase calories a lot more from that point?’

Sharing all the supportive messages to her Stories, Sophie then said she only gained weight because she ‘went on a couple of dates’.

She said: ‘I’m still eating 3270 calories. To be honest, I stopped working for a few days and went on a couple of dates with a guy and my body just responded.’

However, despite things apparently going well on the dates, Sophie confirmed she is ‘still single’.

It’s not the only strange claim Sophie has made on her Instagram, with the health and fitness influencer once saying she was 30 years old, despite being 34.

Sophie shared the strange video to her Instagram Stories last month as she got excited over cheap glass jars she found in Coles.

‘This really is 30 guys,’ she said, taking a dig at herself for being so excited by $2 decorative kitchen jars as she walked the aisles of the grocery store.

She also captioned the video with: ‘Tell me you’re a single 30-year-old who spends her entire life on a computer programming.’

Sophie was forced to backpedal yet another bizarre claim when alarmed followers expressed concern for her health in September after she told them she works out four to five times a day.

The fitness influencer made the shocking admission when a fan asked about her exercise routine on Instagram, but quickly deleted the comment.

She later added another comment saying she worked out ‘4-5 times per week’ and pretended to be shocked that people ‘thought’ she wrote day.
