Sophie, 55, looked effortlessly chic as she donned a white winter coat and black boots before adding a dash of colour with a very striking burgundy hat on top of her honey locks for her visit to Kneller Hall, Twickenham.
The royal initially stepped out of the car wearing a delicate floral face mask but removed it to smile at attendees as she made her way inside the venue.

Sophie maintained her reputation for glamour by accessorising with a pair of gold drop earrings as she entered the hall which has been home to the British Army’s School of Music since its foundation in 1857.

Yesterday, she was spotted at a Shooting Star Children’s Hospices charity shop in Hampton to help it prepare for Christmas.

Sophie, who is patron of the charity which cares for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions and their families, sifted through rails of clothes and putting various items on display.
The Countess – mother to Lady Louise and James, Viscount Severn – also joined her husband and helped with a meal prepping session for charity FoodWise at the Moorcroft Community Centre on Tuesday.
During the visit, the royals chopped carrots and assisted other volunteers in preparing meals that will be delivered to 300 local families in Woking and Guildford.
FoodWise, which usually offers budget cooking class to teach families to cook healthily on a budget, changed their approach in March and have been offering food to families in need during the coronavirus pandemic.

And on Tuesday evening, Sophie met with Prince William and Kate Middleton, both 38, as they finished off their whistle-stop Christmas Express tour of the UK at Windsor Castle.
Also in attendance was the monarch, 94, Prince Charles, 71, and Camilla, 73, Prince Edward and the Princess Royal, 70.
It was the first time the senior members of the royal family have been seen in public en masse since before the Covid-19 crisis took hold in March.
As a Salvation Army band played festive tunes for the Queen and her family gathered around her, the head of state could be seen quietly singing along.
The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall stood socially distanced nearby, as did William and Kate, the Earl and Countess of Wessex and the Princess Royal with Christmas trees lit with lights nearby, adding to the atmosphere.
