Online fashion firm Sosandar strikes deal to sell a collection of its ‘sexy and chic’ clothing in Sainsbury’s

Sosandar has struck a deal to sell a collection of its ‘sexy and chic’ clothing in Sainsbury’s.

The online fashion firm teamed up with the UK’s second biggest supermarket to sell a range of its most popular items.

Sosandar’s dresses, party wear and accessories will initially be sold by Sainsbury’s online and be available in some stores by the end of the year.

The deal with Sainsbury’s is Sosandar’s latest tie-up. It is one of the UK’s fastest growing fashion brands and, as well as its own website, is sold by John Lewis, Marks & Spencer and Next.

Co-founders and bosses Ali Hall and Julie Lavington said they were ‘incredibly proud’ to partner with the retail giant.

They said the tie-up ‘comes off the back of a record period of trading and is testament to the strength of our brand and product range’.

The pair believe Sosandar could become one of the biggest clothing firms and hope the deal with Sainsbury’s will help it reach more women who have ‘graduated’ from younger fast-fashion brands
