Woman wakes up to a strange man sexually assaulting her after he broke into her home in the middle of the night

A woman has been sexually assaulted by a stranger in her own home.
The woman woke up at 1.30am on Saturday to find the unknown man assaulting her at her home in Seaford Meadows, Adelaide.
The victim chased the man out of her house and alerted police.

She later found the sex attacker had stolen her purse, mobile phone, and other personal items.
South Australian Police conducted a search of the nearby area but were unable to find the man.
Police say they are looking for a man who is about 170cms tall with short, thick hair.
The man has been described as having a muscular build and is believed to have been wearing a dark blue or black shirt.
A door knock of the area is being conducted today.
