A South Korean tourist has been held up at knife-point by a gang of men as he slept in his car on Tuesday morning.
The man, 25, was asleep in his rented Nissan X-Trail, which was parked at the intersection of Sunset Blvd and Peninsula Dr in Surfers Paradise, Queensland, when he was ambushed by four men.
The gang threatened the man with a knife and pulled him out of the car during the terrifying ordeal at around 3am.

Queensland Police said that the 25-year-old tourist had been sleeping when a stolen 2005 Mitsubishi Magna pulled up in front of his rented car.
One man got out of the vehicle in front, entered the rented vehicle through the unlocked passenger door and threatened the tourist with a knife.
Another man appeared through the driver’s side and pulled him out of the car.
They then stole the victims car-keys, iPhone and watch and drove away in his rented vehicle.
The South Korean then walked to the Orchard Ave Police station to report the incident.
Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Dane Sheraton told the Gold Coast Bulletin they have charged a 25-year-old man from Southport with armed robbery in company and two counts of fraud and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
They also currently speaking with a 29-year-old over the armed robbery and a search warrant has been issued for his property.
As language barriers are holding up proceedings with the South Korean man, they are hoping for anyone with any information to come forward as they wait for a Native Korean translator.
