A body has been found in a storage facility, prompting a police investigation.
The unidentified body was discovered at a Kennards Self Storage warehouse on Olympic Circuit in Southport in Queensland’s Gold Coast on Tuesday morning.
A spokesperson for Queensland Police said officers were called to the facility at about 4.15am following reports of a sudden death at the address.
It’s understood police are not treating the death as suspicious.
Officers were seen taking photos of the warehouse and reviewing CCTV.

Customers have been advised the storage facility is currently closed with police using police tape to block the driveway.
A crime scene has been established at the site with investigations to continue.
Police said a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
