Spanish police hunt gunmen who shot at bouncers outside a famous Costa del Sol nightclub

Police are hunting a gunmen who shot at bouncers outside a famous Costa del Sol nightclub where the likes of Kate Moss, Paris Hilton, Naomi Campbell and Bruce Willis have partied.

Police have confirmed they are yet to make any arrests following the drama just after 6am today at upmarket Olivia Valere in the holiday resort of Marbella.

The shooting has been blamed on ‘Arabic-looking men’, said by local paper Diario Sur to have opened fire after rowing with doormen at the nightspot who stopped them from taking their drinks outside.

The glitzy club, which is just off Marbella’s famous Golden Mile, is also popular with footballers.

There were no reports of any injuries.

The gunmen are said to have opened fire against the front of the club after going to fetch weapons from a German-plated vehicle in the car park following the argument.

The spokesman said: ‘The National Police has opened an investigation following an incident with firearms around 6.10am this Saturday at the doors of a nightclub in Marbella.

‘No-one was hurt. The incident is understood to have been caused by clients at the nightclub.
