Thousands of revellers have stepped out in an array of dazzling outfits for the first day of the popular Splendour on the Grass music festival.
Held in the North Byron Parklands, fans stormed the festival yards in extravagant outfits that made for eye-catching fashion statements.
Young women were seen showing off their leopard pants, shirt dresses, crop tops, long skirts with elaborate patterns and an array of colourful tops.
Some appeared more concerned with their on-trend outfits than dressing for the 8C temperatures.
Anything goes – some music fans showed up in fishnet stockings, black boots, and colourful shirt dresses, paired with sunnies
