American sports have a distinct kind of enjoyment for its local viewers and have a more interesting perspective to its international audience. San Francisco is home to the best professional sports team and champions in the world. The San Francisco Times made a quick run-down of the leading sports team in the country. First up are the San Francisco 49ers, San Francisco Giants, Golden State Warriors, and San Jose Sharks, representing the fields of football, baseball, basketball, and ice hockey respectively.

San Francisco 49ers are a group of professional American people in the area of football and have won five Super Bowls. As a member of the league’s National Football Conference (NFC) West division, they compete in the National Football League (NFL). They were the first major league professional sports franchise and are the 10th oldest in NFL. It is ranked 12th place as the most valuable team in the whole world.

San Francisco Giants are the most famous baseball team in the bay. Their audience gave off the most aggressive energy compared to the other professional sports team which makes the games more exciting and fun. Being an American professional baseball team, they also compete in the biggest leagues in the country like Major League Baseball (MLB). They have earned more wins in the history of American sports while being one of the earliest and most successful in the profession of baseball. The Giants have won 23 National League pennants and they have played in the World Series 20 times.

Golden State Warriors are the official group of professional American basketball players representing the metropolis of San Francisco. Technically, they are originally from Oakland, but they have gained the full support of the people in the bay area. Being members of the League’s Western Conference Pacific Division, they have competed in the National Basketball Association (NBA). They are known not only in their country but also in the entire world for being one of the best basketball players on the map. One of the most famous and best members of the team are Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green which made a name for themselves in basketball for carrying the team to championships.

San Jose Sharks are a regional group of professional American hockey players in the bay area. Their games are a little tough to watch for every player involved in the game and are known to be a little violent, but most people who are a fan of the team like the enthusiasm of the event. As members of the Pacific Division of the Western Conference, they compete in the National Hockey League (NHL). The team is known for its traditional entrances pre-game. Before each game, the lights would go down and emerge in the corner is a 17-foot open shark mouth, then lowered from the rafters. The players of the team would appear through the mouth of the shark and onto the ice. Whenever the San Jose Sharks go on the power play, the theme song from the movie Jaws would then be played. Most viewers get hooked with their performances which made them watch the entire game.
