It’s one of the most extravagant celebrations in the UK calendar – and this year it didn’t disappoint.
Some 125,000 people descended on London to mark St Patrick’s Day this weekend.
Revelers took to Trafalgar Square in their hordes, seizing the chance to enjoy a pint of Guinness or an Irish whiskey.
From dazzling dancing to eye-popping outfits, it was difficult to miss the flamboyant festivities which swept the capital.
St Patrick’s Day is a cultural and religious celebration normally held on March 17 of each year.
It is the traditional date of the death of Saint Patrick, the foremost patron saint of Ireland.
