Stacey Solomon and her husband Joe Swash reveal they don’t sleep in the same bed after having ‘three kids in four years’

Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash have revealed the hilarious reason that they no longer sleep in the same bed together.

The Loose Women panellist, 34, and the actor, 42, made the surprising confession about their marital set-up during an appearance on Friday’s Celebrity Gogglebox.

After seeing one couple share a kiss in Channel 4 series The Nevermets, Joe turned to his wife Stacey and said: ‘We used to have pillow talk, didn’t we?’

Stacey replied: ‘We used to sleep in bed together, do you remember that? Before we had three kids in four years!’

Imitating Stacey, Joe continued: ”I’ll go in Rex’s bed with the baby, all right?”

Stacey laughed then agreed: ‘It’s what happens, innit babe?’

Stacey and Joe began dating in 2016 and married in 2022, share three children together, Rex, five, Rose, two, and Belle, 16 months.

On Gogglebox, the couple also watched a 1992 Top of the Pops compilation and Beat The Chasers and Joe one of their dogs while Stacey held their pet duck.

They were joined in the episode by the likes of Mel B and her daughter Phoenix and Stephen Mangan and his sister Anita.

There was also Nick Grimshaw and his niece Liv, Mo Gilligan and his friend Babatunde, and Jeff Brazier and his son Bobby, and more.

The episode comes after Stacey celebrated her firstborn Zachary, 16, finishing school and going to his prom.

Zachary was just 15 months old when a 19-year-old Stacey auditioned for the sixth series of The X Factor, which she would go on to finish in third place.

His father is Stacey’s then-boyfriend Dean Cox, and Stacey went on to have Leighton, 12, with her ex-fiancé Aaron Barnham.

In May, Joe admitted being a father of six was ‘really hard’ – his sixth child is firstborn Harry, 16, from a previous relationship.

However, he didn’t rule out a seventh, telling the Mirror: ‘I never thought I’d be sitting here with six kids.

‘So, you never know what life’s going to throw at you. But if it does throw another baby at me there could be worse things.

And he’s not alone, as Stacey teased back in January that she wouldn’t mind more children either.

During an Instagram Q&A, she was asked: ‘Are you finished with having babies or would you like more.’

Posting a video of her two youngest children Rose and Belle playing with their toys, Stacey admitted she would never rule out the idea of more kids.

She wrote: ‘I can honestly say. My favourite thing in the whole wide world is being a mum. I just get so much joy from watching our little ones grow & getting to be a part of their world.

‘I would love more. Whatever will be will be. But omg I love them (Joe will be off to get a vasectomy when he sees this).’
