Stacey Solomon reveals she didn’t know she was pregnant for MONTHS

Stacey Solomon has revealed that she didn’t know she was pregnant for months.

The Loose Women star, 33, announced she is expecting her fifth child with husband Joe Swash earlier this week but had kept it a secret for the majority of her pregnancy.

She shocked her followers on Friday night when she told how her due date was as soon as next month as she showed off her huge bump in shots with Joe. 

In comments on her pregnancy update, Stacey revealed she didn’t even know she was pregnant until a few months in.

She joked with The Apprentice star Luisa Zissman as she hinted that her early pregnancy bump was often mistaken for bloating.

Luisa, 35, commented: ‘Omg how did you not know with a bump that big!! I’ve got the fear – esp after a girl who works for me just dropped an 8lb baby not knowing she was pregnant. Congrats.’

Stacey then replied in the comments: ‘I mean I know now… but a few months ago I looked like I’d had a big lunch every now and again.’

Stacey and Joe are parents to Rose, 14 months, and Rex, three, while Stacey also shares son Leighton, 10, with ex-partner Aaron Barham, and eldest Zachery, 14, with Dean Cox. 

Joe is also a father to son Harry, 15, who he shares with his ex-fiancée Emma Sophocleous.

On Friday night Stacey revealed she is due to give birth next month after finding out she was ‘a lot further along’ with her baby than when ‘you usually tell people’.

The TV personality shared the amazing news on December 28, and has now taken to Instagram to share that this time next month the family will prepare to welcome another little one to their brood. 

She wrote to her 5.4million Instagram followers on Friday: ‘Coming soon… Much sooner than we thought.

‘When we found out we still wanted to have that first few months you usually would to adjust and get excited and enjoy it to ourselves, but that didn’t leave us with very long left.

‘So this time next month we will be getting ready to say hello to a whole new pickle… So grateful.

In the comments section, Stacey also seemingly confirmed that she was pregnant at her July wedding as she responded to fan speculation.

She wrote: ‘For those saying you knew when we got married, well you could have let us know Poirot.’

Earlier in the day, Stacey had admitted that she and Joe had found out they were expecting their third child together ‘way later’ than they would ‘usually’.

She shared a video spending some quality time with her other little ones over the Christmas holidays while she and Joe have time off work and thanking fans for their kind words of support.

Speaking to her 5.4million followers on Instagram on Friday afternoon, the mother-of-four said: ‘Hello everyone, I just wanted to come on here and say thank you for all your lovely messages.

‘Your comments and everything, I’ve been reading through them, they’re just so nice.

‘Sorry I’ve been so quiet I’ve just been trying to spend as much time as possible with this lot,’ as she pans the camera to one of her little ones playing with a toy.

‘So me and Joe got a couple of days off for Christmas and New Years, and we just try and give them loads of attention but I just wanted to say thank you so much – you’re honestly so lovely and so kind.

‘We actually found out way later than we would usually, so we’re a lot further along than when you would usually tell people! So we are really, really nervous and it was a real surprise but we’re so grateful and really excited for what’s to come!’

Some fans of the star have said that they suspected she was pregnant for weeks.

Some of Stacey’s devoted followers commented underneath her announcement post that they noticed she was wearing baggy sweaters and hiding behind her older children in snaps, possibly to hide her growing tummy. 

‘I knew it, the baggy jumpers gave it away, congratulations,’ one fan commented underneath her post. 

‘Yeah I called this weeks/couple of months ago,’ another said. 

‘I wonder how far gone she is. Remember me saying a while ago I thought she was pregnant,’ another said.

Underneath a picture Stacey posted two weeks ago of her and her family playing in the snow, where she seemingly hides her stomach, one fan remarked: ‘Stacey is so pregnant.’ 

Stacey told her 5.4million followers on Wednesday that it was a ‘huge surprise’ but was delighted to be welcoming ‘another little pickle’ – her sweet nickname for her children.

Stacey filmed as she called Joe into the bathroom to show him the positive pregnancy test.

As the shock news sunk in, the former EastEnders actor, 40, exclaimed ‘You’re joking’ before collapsing onto his knees to embrace his wife.

‘This is the best news bubba,’ Joe said as the couple cuddled and kissed as they revelled in the joyous news.

Former The X Factor star Stacey captioned the post: ‘So grateful & can not believe I’m saying this… Another little pickle is on the way… A HUGE surprise, but one that we are so thankful for to the moon & back bub @realjoeswash.’

The couple married in July at their home, dubbed Pickle Cottage, after seven years of dating.
