She penned in the caption: ‘4 whole years of you Rex HAPPY BIRTHDAY PICKLE. Wow that has flown faster than we could have ever imagined. I can not believe how big you’ve gotten especially in this last year. Next stop big school.

Stacey added: ‘P.S if I see one more video of people telling me you only have little kids for four years I’m going to cry. It’s not true they’ll be your baby forever and you’re doing amazing. Swipe for this day four years ago’

It comes after Stacey revealed her heartache after her eldest son Leighton headed off on a residential school trip.

The TV personality shared a photo of the 11-year-old to her Instagram Story on Monday, as he boarded a coach wearing his school’s hoodie.

Admitting she was feeling emotional, Stacey wrote: ‘Because it’s Leighton’s last year of primary school, his year has gone away for the week.

‘I’m so excited for him but I already miss him. The little ones love Leighton so much and he’s the funniest and cheekiest boy.

‘Can’t wait to get him back but hope he has the best time.’

She is also mother to Zach, 15, from a previous relationship and shares children Belle, three months, Rose, 15 months, and Rex, three, with her husband Joe Swash.

It comes after Stacey’s fans became convinced she’s replacing Phillip Schofield on This Morning after revealing she’s had ‘one of the most exciting meetings of my life’.

The TV host shared a cryptic message to her followers, which left many believing she is set to replace Phillip Schofield on This Morning.

Filming an Instagram story to her six million followers, Stacey could be seen writing a note in her diary. The mum-of-five was seen spelling out ‘September 2023’ before adding a heart doodle underneath.

She penned in the caption: '4 whole years of you Rex HAPPY BIRTHDAY PICKLE. Wow that has flown faster than we could have ever imagined.'

She then went one step further when she told her followers: ‘Just had one of the most exciting meetings of my life.

‘I can’t even tell you how excited I am to share this with you soon. My dream.’

The TV personality then accompanied the post alongside a number of crying emojis.

It comes after Phillip Schofield, 61, announced on Saturday he would be stepping down from hosting This Morning after 21 years amid his alleged feud with Holly Willoughby, 42.

He said in his statement: ‘I have always been proud to cover fascinating stories on This Morning. But recently, This Morning itself has become the story.

‘Throughout my career in TV – including the very difficult last few days – I have always done my best to be honourable and kind.

Holly said: ‘It’s been over 13 great years presenting This Morning with Phil and I want to take this opportunity to thank him for all of his knowledge, his experience and his humour. The sofa won’t feel the same without him.’

Holly will remain on the This Morning sofa with other members of the ITV family after taking a break and Phillip will move on to present other projects.

Whilst there has been no announcement as to who will take the vacant role, Stacey is no stranger to the famed sofa having appeared on the show to discuss numerous.

She even showed the nation her crafting skills when she created some pumpkin flower pots.

After Phillips dramatic exit, fans flocked to social media in a bid for Stacey and her husband Joe, 41, to become the new presenters of the ITV show.

One user wrote: ‘After all the #ThisMorning madness, I think they should just ask Joe Swash and Stacey Solomon to be presenters! They would be perfect!’

Another said: ‘Joe Swash and Stacey Solomon would be brill together as hosts.’

The speculation comes after Stacey confirmed she is currently filming a new show, Brickin’ set to air on Channel 4.

It will see Stacey and her team help people who have been exploited by builders, have run out of funding, or simply can’t finish their projects.
