‘My body has forced me to be healthy,’ he said, adding due to complications during his surgery he had more restrictions than usual.

He explained he is gluten intolerant, lactose intolerant and can’t eat greasy food.

‘Honest to god, it’s painful. I love eating. I love eating fast and I love eating heaps. I can’t eat fast, I have to take my time or I’ll get sick or I’ll spew up on stage.’

Stan did add however that he has ‘more energy’ after the surgery and added that his body now moves faster.

He was then told he would need to take B12 shots, and this if he didn’t he would likely die.

The Choose You singer went on to reveal he delayed his stomach removal surgery in September 2017 by a month to finish work commitments and ensure he’d be able to foot all the medical bills.

He told Daily Mail Australia in May last year that he’s focused on the future.

‘Now I’m going to live my best life and I’m going to do everything I can to make sure that I’m living my dreams and not just sitting there and kind of just waiting for somebody else to tell me I can do this now,’ he said at the time.
