- Lori, 22, smashed her car into another vehicle at around 9.40pm in Beverly Hills
- She had been at dinner with a friend in Malibu earlier in the evening
- Sources say she was not drunk but was ‘texting and driving’ at the time
- The other driver pulled her from her SUV which had flipped upon impact
- Lori then reportedly tried to walk away from the scene and was arrested
- She was not taken into custody and instead was free to leave after being arrested for misdemeanor hit and run and delaying a police investigation
- She is one of Harvey’s seven children
Steve Harvey’s 22-year-old daughter Lori was arrested on Sunday night after trying to walk away from a crash caused when she slammed her Mercedes into another car.
Lori had been at Nobu in Malibu having dinner with a friend before the crash in Beverly Hills.
Police do not think she was drunk but sources tell OK, which was first to report the crash, that she was texting and driving.
According to witnesses, Lori’s Mercedes jeep flipped over as a result of the impact.

She was pulled from the car by the driver of the vehicle she hit.
Afterwards, she reportedly tried to walk away ‘confused’. Police were already there and arrested her for misdemeanor hit and run and delaying a police investigation.
She was not booked and walked free from the scene after FaceTiming her father, Radar Online reports.
Lori was pictured at the scene sitting on a chair on the sidewalk after being held by police.
Her friend had earlier uploaded a video of them at the Malibu restaurant on Instagram.

In it, she pouted playfully for the camera. The only drink on their table was a large bottle of Fiji water.
‘She was arrested for the two charges and released on scene. Not booked.
‘She identified herself properly and signed a written promise to appear in court,’ a Beverly Hills Police Department spokesman said of the incident.;
A representative for Harvey did not immediately respond to inquiries on Monday morning.
Lori is one of his seven children. Her mother is his third and current wife, Marjory.
The 22-year-old is a model and was until recently dating P Diddy.
