Former cricket captain Steve Smith tied the knot with his long-term partner Dani Willis on Wednesday in Sydney’s Southern Highlands.
And while the star-studded secret ceremony seemed to go off without a hitch, things could have been very different if it weren’t for Steve offering to help his bride with her unruly bridal gown.
Prior to exchanging vows, Dani was spotted gingerly stepping through the undergrowth of Berrima’s Bendooley Estate, making sure not to dirty her pristine frock.

Despite this, Dani looked ethereal in her lace-covered bridal gown, which featured a plunging neckline, thin straps and a full princess skirt that floated behind her in a dramatic train.
