A man in New Orleans was caught allegedly stealing steaks from Walmart to feed his family when three strangers stepped in to buy them for him.

Antonia Williams watched an unidentified man get stopped at the Walmart exit holding three packages of steak.

Antonia’s sister Dezel Robinson Bell started recording the situation.

‘I must admit this situation was funny initially,’ Antonia said in the caption of a video she posted on Facebook.

The video shows the man pleading with a Walmart worker.

Antonia said that as she, Dezel, and their sister Iviera got closer they saw that he was crying as he explained that he had lost his job and had no way of feeding his family.

‘As I stood back and watched my sister record what could have been any of us, I felt compelled to do something,’ she wrote on Facebook.

Antonia and Iviera walk up to the man who is standing with two employees and tell them that they will pay for whatever he was attempting to take ‘in hopes Walmart’s personnel would just let him go.’

As they walk to the register the man puts his arm around Antonia and thanks the three women for their help.

Antonia posted the video to her Facebook on October 1, and it had over half a million views as of Wednesday.
