Stretches for pain: This is how I release my entire back in seconds – and all you need is a door frame

A licensed massage therapist has revealed how to release your back in seconds and alleviate back pain and soreness.

James Moore, from Kentucky, is a certified health and wellness coach and specialises in back pain.

He recently shared a simple stretch that will relax your body.

James recommends standing in a door frame, crossing your arms and holding onto it at chin level, and then making sure your toes are touching the frame as you look down.

Next, you have to hold onto the door frame and gently lean back, holding the position for ten seconds.

Healthdirect revealed that eight in ten Australians have back pain that is not caused by any particular condition.

Regularly stretching your back helps to reduce tension in the muscles supporting your spine.

It can also improve your mobility, range of motion, and reduce risk of disability caused by back pain.

‘You can release your entire back in seconds with this stretch!’ James said.

‘Hold for ten seconds and make sure to have your toes touching the door frame. To make more room in the door frame, you can go in diagonally and step back as far as you need,’ he advised.

Many thanked James for the advice and promised to try the stretch soon.

‘This stretch feels so good after housework. You are my saviour!’ a woman said.

‘I’m going to try this the next time my back hurts!’ another wrote.

‘I love this, this is so helpful!’ a third said.

If you have back pain and have lost feeling or movement in your limbs or are having problems controlling your bowels or bladder, call triple 000 immediately and ask for an ambulance.
