Pro dancer Amy Dowden matched in her own gold number, beaming as she posed for a mirror selfie in full glam.

It was revealed last month that Amy would perform in the Strictly tour with JLS Singer JB Gill, 38, who was a runner-up in December’s final after Dianne Buswell and Chris McCausland won the glitterball trophy.

Amy was devastated after suffering a stress fracture in her shin, causing her to miss out on the second half of the series and leading to Lauren Oakley to take her spot partnering JB.

The Welsh star had returned to Strictly last year for the first time after having a mastectomy following her diagnosis with breast cancer, making her injury and having to pull out of the show all the more painful.

Other 2024 series favourites joining the tour include Wynne Evans, Jamie Bothwick, Montell Douglas, Sarah Hadland and Shayne Ward.

Series winner Chris McCausland won’t be on the road though as he focuses on his own comedy tour.

Chris pipped fellow finalists Tasha Ghouri, JB and Sarah Hadland to the post in the ‘best ever’ final, with his cheeky wit and inspiring story helping to save the show following a year of scandals.

The Strictly tour stars in Birmingham next week and will be judged by Strictly panel Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke, Revel Horwood and, for the first time, Motsi Mabuse.

It Takes Two presenter Janette Manrara hosts the tour, saying audiences around the country are in for a ‘real treat.’
