The hit BBC show will be back on screens from September 16 when this year’s celebrities will be paired with their professional partners for the first time and the first live shows will begin on September 23.

The series, hosted by Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, will run for 13 weeks and is set to conclude with the live final on December 16.

Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and Shirley Ballas will all return to the judging panel when the show returns.

It comes after Strictly Come Dancing is risking another ‘fix’ row as it has emerged that Angela has dance training and even worked as a professional in a US show.

It was revealed that in 2001 Angela was a trained dancer with the O’Shea Irish Dance Company which saw her perform all over the world.

It saw her working professionally before she then landed a role as a dancer in a US show.

She performed in the Irish Thunder dance show as Busch Gardens Williamsburg in Virginia.

However after it was announced she was taking part she said that she had never done ‘any of these dances in her life’ – referring to the Latin and Ballroom she will have to take on.

She said: ‘I’ve never done any of these dances in my life, bar a drunken jive at a family wedding. So, it certainly feels like there is room to learn and to really push myself.’

‘Look, I’m not particularly fit. I’ve no idea how my pelvic floor is going to react to that level of jumping!’

Angela, who is married to husband Roy Horgan, shares two daughters Ruby Ellen, five, Marnie Fae, 19 months.
