A pair of 2023 top-four picks were injured on the first night of the Las Vegas Summer League as the Rockets beat the Blazers at the buzzer.

No. 3 overall pick Scoot Henderson, who finished the game with 15 points, six assists and five rebounds in 21 minutes, suffered a right shoulder injury according to the team and did not return.

For the Rockets, fourth overall pick Amen Thompson was also forced out of action by what a team source told ESPN was an ankle sprain.

Thompson also looked good in his debut, finishing with 16 points, five assists and four rebounds, and his injury is reportedly not considered serious.

With Henderson and Thompson both out of the game, Jabari Smith Jr. nailed a game-winning three-pointer with just 0.6 seconds left to give Houston a 100-99 win.
