Emergency crews have rushed to the scene of a suspected murder-suicide in Brisbane’s south. 

Police confirmed officers were called to MacBeth Place in Sunnybank Hills at about 2.30pm on Tuesday, where they found the bodies of two people at the scene. 

‘Investigations are still early on in the piece,’ a Queensland Police spokesman told Daily Mail Australia.

‘A crime scene has been established. No further information is available at this time.’  

It’s understood the suspected murder suicide involved a man and woman, Nine News reported.

The normally quiet suburban street remained in lockdown on Tuesday night with a heavy police presence keeping people away.
