Sunrise star Edwina Bartholomew leaves viewers cringing as she asks one VERY awkward question during interview with Zendaya: ‘That’s embarrassing’

Sunrise star Edwina Bartholomew found herself in an awkward moment on Monday while interviewing actor Zendaya – and viewers were not happy.

The reporter, 40, asked the American actor, 27, who was the ‘best kisser’ between her co-stars Mike Faist and Josh O’Connor during their media blitz.

Zendaya appeared so shocked by the invasive question, she pretended not to hear it as her fellow actors, Mike and Josh, jumped in to answer for her.

The clip begins with Edwina asking the trio, ‘But who is the best kisser?’ referencing to the steamy scene where they all make out with each other in the movie Challengers.

Zendaya, who is dating Spiderman star Tom Holland, grimaces at the shocking question and says, ‘Hm?’ as though pretending not to hear it.

To her relief, Mike, 32, jumps in to cover and says, ‘Josh,’ to pull the attention away from his discomforted colleague.

Viewers flocked to X – formerly known as Twitter – following the awkward exchange and slammed the interview.

‘No bc same Zendaya, same,’ one user wrote as they shared a gif of the Golden Globe award winner’s grimace

‘Embarrassing. Grade 3 question,’ someone else tweeted, as one user asked why Edwina was ‘tryna be messy’.

One person commended the actors for their grace in handling the question.

‘And Mike, it seems, recognised the lameness of the question and immediately said Josh. Love these three,’ they wrote.

It comes just days after the Dune actor and her partner, Spiderman star Tom Holland, were forced to silence split rumours.

Speculation on their relationship began circulating in January when Zendaya unfollowed Tom on Instagram and hadn’t been pictured with him since October.

However, Zendaya unfollowed everyone and Tom still followed her, and the couple were seen packing on the PDA last week at a red carpet event in London.
