During the hearing Ms Martin told the court she was intoxicated because she was ‘devastated’ about failing a subject.

She said she decided to drive because she didn’t want to miss out on dinner plans with her brother.

While behind the wheel, several other drivers called the police and reported Ms Martin’s dangerous driving.

She blew a .226 when she was stopped by officers after veering across two lanes of traffic with her hazard lights on, the publication reported.

The court ordered Ms Martin to pay a $1,300 fine. Her license is disqualified for 14 months.
