Police are hunting a ‘spotty’ fat young man after he indecently exposed himself to a teenage girl – with people mocking his appearance by joking: ‘I hope police are connecting the dots’.

The man, aged in his 20s, was riding his bike in Southampton, Hampshire, when he spotted the 17-year-old girl.

He flashed at her while he was on his blue bicycle and detectives have described him as being ‘spotty’ and ‘overweight’.

Hampshire Constabulary released an e-fit of the suspect and his appearance was quickly mocked on Facebook 

Hampshire Constabulary posted an e-fit image of the suspected flasher on their Facebook page in hope of tracking him down – but locals have slammed him online.

One person wrote: ‘I’m disappointed it didn’t say “If anyone spots him.”‘ But she later added: ‘On a serious note, I hope the police find him’.

Another local wrote: ‘I hear they’re slowly connecting all the dots.’

A police spokesman said: ‘Between 3.30pm and 4pm on Wednesday September 13, a man on a blue push bike approached a 17-year-old girl on Hazel Road.

‘He indecently exposed himself before cycling off.

‘If you recognise this man, please call police immediately as we would like to speak to him as part of our enquiries.’ 

The man has been described as being white, aged in his 20s, spotty, overweight and with dark brown hair with short sides and spiked on top.

He was described as wearing brown chinos and a light blue polo shirt.
