Suspended prison guard Amy Connors’ relatives fire vile threats at locals

The married prison guard stood down after an alleged sex tryst with a cop killer acted like ‘she was the queen of the jail’ after her rapid weight loss from gastric band surgery.

Corrective Services New South Wales officer Amy Connors has been suspended from her role at the Mid North Coast Correctional Centre in Kempsey after an alleged sexual relationship with Sione Penisini.

‘She thought she was the queen of the jail once the weight fell off,’ a source claimed to Daily Mail Australia.

‘She wore thick caked on make up to work, bright red lipstick and way too much perfume.’

Ms Connors  shed a significant amount of weight following the lapband procedure about 18 months ago.

She would often share her thoughts about area crime on local Facebook groups, alienating several residents of the country town.

But sources said ‘she sure kept a secret’ her alleged affair with Penisini, who was booted into Supermax after prison officials learned what was happening.

Penisini is eligible for parole in eight years for the 2002 slaying of highway patrol officer, Senior Constable Glenn McEnally.

Ms Connors has gone into hiding since the alleged affair was exposed this week. She has been suspended from her job at the Mid North Coast Correctional Centre.

Corrective Services intelligence officers busted the alleged affair after learning of phone conversations between the pair, prison sources confirmed.

It is not a criminal offence to have sex with a prisoner, but a breach of the code of conduct, Corrective Services Minister David Elliott has said.

Meantime, Facebook accounts belonging to members of Ms Connor’s brothers have lashed out at Kempsey locals with vile threats.

Screenshots show her brother Nathan this week posted a message suggesting the family would, legally speaking, ‘f**k you up the ar*se’ if a local shared photos of her.

A Facebook account – purportedly ran by Ms Connors’ brother – posted these messages online

‘Very soon hope you have plenty of money… you will have fun and have nothing left.’

Another brother, Trent, purportedly messaged another local to say: ‘She’s not f***ing pregnant ya big mouth s**t’, denying rumours she had been knocked up by Penisini.

Another message refers to ‘mouldy fl**s’.

The messages have circulated on social media, with people expressing surprise they had received the messages when they had not said anything about Ms Connors.

Former friends described Ms Connors as something of a gossip.

Daily Mail Australia has seen posts from Ms Connors where she told fellow Facebook users a local troublemaker was having a swim at the local swimming pool.

‘If anyone wants to pay them a visit they are the Kempsey swimming pool holding their heads up high as if nothing has happened,’ she said.

Penisini has been moved to Goulburn Supermax as punishment.
